Carter's THREE Birthdays and Beyond...

Carter's first birthday celebration was a joint party with his cousin Ayda, who's birthday is the week before his.  They celebrated together with their Grandparents, CeCe and Granddaddy.
Ayda enjoyed helping/opening Carter's presents :)

Granddaddy shows Carter how to play with the toys his Uncle T gave him.
Carter looks pretty excited about fire and cupcakes!  ...so does Ayda :)

It didn't take long for him to dig in!
Carter's second birthday celebration was with his Grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa!

Carter got his first set of Legos!
and a very yummy cake!!
Carter's third birthday was on his actual birthday and he celebrated with his Mommy and Daddy!
Carter LOVES trucks and in particular, he LOVES tractors!  So, on his first birthday he woke up to a tractor of his very own!
and boy does he love his tractor :)
A young farmer takes a break from his hard work :)

Going along with the tractor theme..... I made this tractor cake for Carter's "real" birthday!

Beyond the birthday.....
We added two steers to our farm :)  They can usually be found in the front pasture in the evening... I think they enjoy the sunset!

Michael T. and I took Ayda and Carter to a 4 Wheelin/Mud Hole Race thing... Carter LOVED seeing and hearing all the trucks!  Here he is cheering them on!
Carter's favorite past time..... mess making!
Reading Lady a story while sitting in the baby pool.
Lady and Carter look at something interesting after taking a swim (hence the lack of clothing).

I could just eat him up!!!

We've been dreaming of an awesome dining room table for a long time and now we're getting it made!  This is the reclaimed wormy chestnut that the table top will be made of!

Carter watching his first movie....it held his attention for maybe a minute!

What a boy!  He's started to make this face when he's showing off!
