Farm boy :)

Carter and Sunny check out the rocks.
"What should we get into next?!"

Carter must like the way the corn feels...
most of the time he'd rather swish his hand around in
the jar than actually throw the corn into the chickens....

Scout has become a great guard dog...he'll have a new test soon....
we're getting new chicks and once they're big enough they'll
be in the fields with the chicken tractor.

Opal...look at those ears!!  I feel like they must get annoying!?

I don't think so Carter!!

Sunny.

...not sure how Sunny feels about all the lovin she gets!

Carter and Scout check out the ground...

all excited about stopping at the playground!

Little boy... BIG playground.

Yummy :)  ...a rare time when he's using is right
hand to eat... he typically favors his left.

..he love to help me with the farm chores...and
in particular he loves to carry around buckets!

"I found a rock!"

He has a thing about stomping on old cow pies...while
saying "Poo"....

"I need to fill my bucket with feed...but I can't reach the door..."

He grabs the scoop and goes right for the feed!

While the pigs eat he likes to add things to round out their meal... rocks,
dirt, hay....

"Good pig."

Sitting on the farrowing rail....he's trying to
convince the pigs to come sit with him!

Slips!

"Hehe... I got muddy AGAIN Momma!"

Ruby's snout... she's a Duroc with a 1/4 Tamworth and
therefore has a longer snout than the Gloustershire Old Spots.

Strapped into the Kubota while Momma feeds
the pigs.

Running with the dogs.

These two are always up to something!  It's easier to keep up with
them when they play together...

Carter's favorite mud puddle.

Our steers are nice enough, but they're not overly
demonstrative... however, they must be swayed
by Carter's charm because they come to him!

Carter loves to get them to lick his hand! ...Looks like
Scout is saying, "I can lick too"!

"I'm so innocent."... right!

Action shot!

Winter colors.

Ummm...mud :)

"Look Momma...more mud!"

"Take a photo of the mud on my face!"

Lovin on Lady.

Taking a break from all that work.

This is the "O..did you hear that?" look.
