This month has been so so busy with the onset of fall, new farm additions, 10 new puppies, and the joy of Carter... it's a good thing I took so many photos to remember it by!  Enjoy.

The first weekend of October Aaron, Carter, and I went to a farm in Palmyra....here's the fun we had!:
Carter is playing in a box of shelled corn!..it's similar to a sandbox, just corn.  He LOVED it!

He also love the hay bale maze!  He didn't go from point A to point B, but he did go in deep and work his way back out with no problem!

..and we went back to the corn pit!

Lastly, we went on a hay ride to see the cows!

Carter loves to pick everything up and explore it!

"Can we PLEASE do some work with the tractor?" ...If you go anywhere near the tractor when you're outside Carter will "beg" to get in!

...how can I deny him :)

This is an "uh oh" face! ..he does this every time he hears something else going on.

Cyrus (the cat) actually goes up to Carter for petting!!  Carter is usually pretty gentle.

Here Carter is sitting on his little tractor with his blanket (a new attachment).  Now-a-days when I start taking photos of Carter he starts changing his facial expression...

Outside enjoying the fall weather.

Carter and I are heading out on one of our trips to take hogs to harvest.  We both love our new farm truck!!

Half of the time when Carter is quiet and we start to wonder what he's getting into, we find him cuddled up somewhere with a book!  Here he must be reading to "Rody", his bouncy horse-like creature.

"I'm just reading, Mom!"

Okay..this is a terrible photo to post! ...but I think it's so funny... He wasn't really riding Rody when he fell, but they both ended up off their feet and dressed in blue!...

I love how Carter will look straight into the camera!   Maybe it's from taking so many photos of him :P

We went trick or treating for a little bit with Carter's cousin, Ayda (one of the witches).  Carter was a PRO!  Aaron and I couldn't believe how fast he caught on to picking a piece of candy and putting in his pumpkin!  You would have thought we'd practiced!

He had a blast!

The last stop...my parents house.. it was an hour past his bed time at this point but he was a champ!  A great halloween!

We did a lot of work to one of our rentals this month... Carter helped..here he is sweeping up the new floor!
